lucid dreams

ok people so now were no longer tied to the college wit hthe dead farm project i think its time we start to use the website thats been bought and paid for so head on over to http://luciddreamsdesigns.com/forums/index.php signup to the forum and get posting.

so clean you can eat your dinner off it


heres the bathroom set for the house made it as filty as possible cause its ment to look like its been sat rotting for 30+ years

don't bother showing me the way out, I don't want to die of old age before I get to the front door.

Done with the top windows for now until I can see what the upstairs room is going to look like, then I can finish texturing it.


started working on a new asset this morning.

dead farm...... not dead?

Ok so even though the project is over and no marks will be given for any work done from now on the dead farm project is still alive and well.

Myself, Bob, Ste, Chris and Kev (once back from TT) will be continuing work on the over ground area and then moving on to the underground to make a large deathmatch styled map. This will be the 1st project of the lucid dreams team and as such everyone from the class is welcome to join us, HOWEVER we will be demanding commitment from anyone who wishes to take part.

During the module we had some non-committed team members who only dragged the project down and quite frankly we cant have that, so if playing games and going out to get pissed is more important to you than getting into the games industry we dont need you.

If however you feel you can commit to producing work for the project and future lucid projects welcome aboard.

old mac claw had a barn !

so i decided to re texture and model the barn , and add a few touch ups here and there, soz i missed college on Tuesday ppl , had no transport, anyway hope it look better now :)




not really decided how to texture the guttering after all gutters are mostly one colour, any ideas folks, and ive took the top off the barn , mite turn this into some sort of out building on the side .

Harvesters done, just finishing off the UV map, havent made collision since its gunna be in the distance, it should be reasonable polycount for a asset that isnt gunna be viewed up close....ENJOY D:

tweaky.

Tweaked the stretching on the roof and the window ledge. gonna add a few more lines to that then call it a day on this mesh. though the roof tiles are a bit high on the specular front when it's lit, i'll tweak that later.
I've also changed the window frames. they were looking like plastic. so I changed it to a white wood texture which I prefer a lot more.

hey people i've been a bit slack posting stuff up recently so heres my latest build its the garage building that will be positioned near the gate.

still need to do the normal and specular maps aswell as collision mesh
the 1st image is before i reworked the roof theres no flat bit on top now.

milking unreal

gotta put it somewhere




so heres the barn that B's milking machines will go, it will also house some troughs hay and dead cows which will be a recurring theme throughout the mapi'm thinking as its a 70's farm the structure will be a wooden frame with corrigated walls and sides.

the roof will also have a hole punched through it that in a single player version of the map will be the route the player takes to get behind the main farm house.

got milk?
