dead farm...... not dead?

Ok so even though the project is over and no marks will be given for any work done from now on the dead farm project is still alive and well.

Myself, Bob, Ste, Chris and Kev (once back from TT) will be continuing work on the over ground area and then moving on to the underground to make a large deathmatch styled map. This will be the 1st project of the lucid dreams team and as such everyone from the class is welcome to join us, HOWEVER we will be demanding commitment from anyone who wishes to take part.

During the module we had some non-committed team members who only dragged the project down and quite frankly we cant have that, so if playing games and going out to get pissed is more important to you than getting into the games industry we dont need you.

If however you feel you can commit to producing work for the project and future lucid projects welcome aboard.

and heres a couple of bits made for the house

  1. That toilet has so much dinge to it even "I" the man who will take to any porcelain throne to pray would be disinclined to give up my demands to the gods. Also i'm in concurrence with adam on this. If everyone REALLY wants to be in the industry it's time to show it. Bob adam and myself have forked out for a website to try to assist ourselves in getting off the ground and if no one else has this sort of commitment then frankly go work soemwhere you're not goign to enjoy yourself with people who're going to treat you like the lower class, bone idle children that are roaming the streets beating people up. I want to make something of myself and get doing what I love and frankly I can't be doing with anybody bringing the rest of the team down. We haven't got a third year to doss about on now and really everything is in our hands and we can actually make something work here. I'm not sorry if i sound harsh, life is crap, and not one of us can expected to be handed a job

  3. and actually i've just been informed by nette that your toilet looks like mine did after that meltdown pizza yesterday. I've looked again, and YES. It's the same hue of green I was conditioning the bowl with all day

  5. Just a little thing I would change is that you have left the grunge in the texture when you created the normal map. It looks like its been carved to bits. the dirt layer shouldnt be included in the texture you use to make the normal. It looks wrong and make the piece look week. you would keep the dirt layer in the specular though so that the dirt become dull and the porcelain keeps a bit of shine.
